Teachers continuously improve their professional practice, model lifelong learning, and exhibit leadership in their school and professional community by promoting and demonstrating the effective use of digital tools and resources.
Reflections:
This standard represents the teacher’s commitment to continued education in Technology and to their profession. This standard also represents and promotes the effective use of digital resources demonstrated by teachers. This standard also represents the teacher’s commitment to professional growth and leadership to their communities and schools. - Participate in local and global learning communities to explore creative applications of technology to improve student learning
- Exhibit leadership by demonstrating a vision of technology infusion, participating in shared decision making and community building, and developing the leadership and technology skills of others
- Evaluate and reflect on current research and professional practice on a regular basis to make effective use of existing and emerging digital tools and resources in support of student learning
- Contribute to the effectiveness, vitality, and self-renewal of the teaching profession and of their school and community

The following artifacts represent my understanding of this said standard:
- Instructional Technology Interview– The purpose of this interview was to obtain real-life knowledge and experiences from someone who was currently working in the field of Instructional Technology. The interviewee shared their thoughts and passion about the field and how it relates to education and to their current job position. The interviewee also shared encouraging advice about the career as a whole.
- Graphic Design Glossary- This glossary includes design principles that many designers use on a daily basis. These design principles will assist in developing quality design layouts while using proper design tools and resources.
- Survey– Contribute to the effectiveness, vitality, and self-renewal of the teaching profession and of their school and community.

Future Learning Goals:
I would like to obtain an Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) membership and participate in conference opportunities to continually engage in growth and leadership opportunities to improve my professional practice, model lifelong learning, and exhibit leadership in my school and in my professional atmosphere. I would like to utilize the Instructional Technology Interview as a feedback tool and as a resource to support career decisions and student learning advice. My future learning goals also include using my Graphic Design Glossary for design principles and strategies. I would also use the Survey as a tool to measure the effectiveness and vitality of my teaching profession and student feedback.
