There are various ways that teachers exemplify this standard. This standard refers to how teachers can connect students to the digital age while learning. It represents how teachers can effectively communicate relevant ideas and objectives to their students while using digital media and digital formats. Teachers can use various methods of technology to collaborate with students, parents, community members and peers. The following are only a few artifacts that I’ve chosen to represent my knowledge and understanding of this said standard:
Artifacts:
Below are three artifacts that I selected to represent Standard III. Please select any of the three images or links below to access the desired artifact.

- Listserve/Group Email– Communicate relevant information and ideas effectively to students, parents, and peers using a variety of digital age media and formats. [email protected]
- Windows Live Movie Maker– Demonstrate fluency in technology systems and the transfer of current knowledge to new technologies and situations.
- Emaze– An online presentation platform used to create, manage, and share presentations among teachers, students, peers, and others. This digital format does not require external hardware, as it is a free online software component. It is a wonderful way to present your classroom instruction. It is also creative and engaging.

Future Learning Goals:
I would like to use the Listserve tool to communicate information and ideas effectively to my students, their parents, fellow faculty, and or community members. I would like to use Windows Live Movie Maker as an additional tool for instruction but I would also like to show the student how I've taken my previous knowledge of various content and transferred or combined the knowledge into a movie. Emaze is a tool I'd like to use for presentations. Emaze allows you to add more personality and online features to most presentations.
